44 Unit Townhouse Development – Langley

The civil works included two new local roads and a new lane, as well as road upgrades along existing 84th Avenue. New watermains, sanitary sewers, and storm sewers were also installed as well as street lighting. Detailed site grading and site servicing were designed within the site including consideration for retention of a large tree near building foundations, street lighting, and a water meter chamber. Erosion & sediment control design and monitoring was also included.

This project was involved in complex cost sharing agreements and latecomer applications, which were used to clarify funding responsibilities for shared frontages and shared downstream upgrades as well as negotiations for road right-of-ways.

Secret Ridge Townhomes in Coquitlam

This 29 unit townhouse development was situated on a steep embankment with forested ravines on each side of the development which presented unique grading and storm water control challenges. The design solution involved heavy storm event flows being diverted to a large trunk main sewer. Off-site design included multiple road alignment options.

Valore on the Park Condominiums in Port Coquitlam

H.Y. Engineering provided off-site design, on-site design, Erosion and Sediment Control (ESC) Design and Monitoring, Tendering, and Construction Administration services for this 29 unit apartment building in Port Coquitlam.

LA VIA in Port Coquitlam

LA VIA Port Coquitlam is a 34 unit condominium development with underground parking that was completed by Circadian Developments Ltd. in March, 2014. H.Y. Engineering Ltd. provided off-site design services and revised to those designs to incorporate the acquisition of an additional lot to the development. H.Y. Engineering also provided Project Management, Erosion and Sediment Control (ESC) Design and Inspection, as well as Construction Inspection Services.

 

 

The Niche in Surrey

This multi-family project includes a townhouse development in the North Grandview Heights area.  The off-site servicing included; new water main construction, new sanitary sewer force main construction, and significant road upgrades along 156th Street.  On-site services for this development included storm sewer, sanitary sewer, and water main connections, as well as the design of a water meter chamber.
