The Partners and staff at H.Y. Engineering and H.Y. Surveying would like to announce the farewell of Senior Partner Richard Brooks as he moves on to a new chapter in life. In his 37-year tenure with H.Y. Engineering, Richard has been a wealth of knowledge and a major asset in helping to grow the company from a small two-person operation to a well-respected firm of more than 50 employees.

Through his tireless contributions over the years, our firm has become widely recognized as a leader in the land development sector, providing civil engineering, planning and land surveying services.
Richard became a Principal with the firm in 1986 and since then has continued to be actively involved in the day-to-day business operations. As a Senior Project Manager with over 40 years of industry experience, Richard’s focus at H.Y. has been the management of complex land development projects, coordinating capital works projects, and addressing the many requirements associated with the land development application and planning process. Richard’s ability to understand clients’ needs and envision end results through critical and creative thinking has afforded the company to build solid long-term client relationships for H.Y. over the years.

All of the staff and Partners at H.Y. Engineering and H.Y. Surveying appreciate Richard’s hard work and dedication to the firm during his 37 years, and he will be truly missed for many years to come. We wish Richard the very best in his next phase of life and hope to continue to make him proud of the company that he helped build, both today and in the future. We wish him much joy and relaxation, enjoying his passions, including his home projects, travelling, boating and flying his airplane.
